Revisions of theatre equipment are essential to maintain the safety, reliability and optimum performance of the equipment. Common inspections include checking electrical and mechanical components, testing lighting and sound systems, inspecting stage mechanisms, and fire safety.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most theatres and cultural facilities have so-called assembly areas, for which special, stricter rules defined by standards apply. These standards specify what must be met in these spaces, for example, in terms of fire protection, emergency lighting, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
