In 2023, we successfully completed and handed over Domov Harmonie in Krnov. It is a modern complex consisting of smaller family houses, designed for seniors and people requiring regular support. From the outset, the project was designed with an emphasis on quality, comfort, and a family atmosphere. It provides residents with dignified accommodation that combines individual privacy with the necessary facilities for communal living.
However, just one year after completion, the area was hit by devastating floods that affected all the houses on the site. The water left the houses almost empty – it was necessary to remove all the furnishings and carry out extensive restoration work. For the clients, this meant temporary relocation, and for us, it meant the immediate task of ensuring complete restoration and returning the houses to their original function.
We started the repairs right away. First, we had to dry out the buildings and get them ready for new finishes and tech. Then we fixed up the interiors and equipment. We coordinated the whole process to make it as fast as possible, but also high-quality and long-lasting.
Today, all of the houses at Domov Harmonie have been fully repaired and are once again serving their residents. Although the floods were an unexpected and difficult challenge, we managed to restore the building to its original purpose—providing a modern, safe, and comfortable home to those who need it most.
