What does lighting technology and its suspensions include?
Our inspection and service activities cover the complete chain of stage lighting, from power supply to control to the actual mounting of the luminaires. We regularly inspect and service:
- Lights and stage lights (halogen, profile, LED and rotating heads),
- Lighting batteries, bridges, towers and ramps (stationary and mobile supporting structures),
- Suspension elements and anchoring technology (hooks, clips, half-flanges, safety cables / safety bonds, lashing devices),
- Power supply systems and dimming units (dimmer cabinets, switchboards, socket bridges),
- Control consoles, DMX/Art-Net distribution and converters for signal distribution,
- Flexible cable inlets, cable bridges and energy chains for moving light ramps.
Lighting equipment is exposed to high operating temperatures, frequent handling, vibrations and mechanical stress during scene changes. Neglected maintenance can lead to a short circuit, fire, failure of signaling or, in the worst case, the fall of the luminaire or the entire ramp. 1. Regular statutory electrical inspections and inspection of fastenings
We carry out certified periodic inspections of electrical lighting equipment and mechanical inspections of load-bearing parts in accordance with the regulations for theater technology. The output of our work is a detailed electrical inspection report and a protocol on the inspection of suspension elements, which serve as official documents for inspection bodies and insurance companies.
The inspection includes:
- Measurement of insulation resistance, protection against dangerous touch voltage and circuit continuity of luminaires and dimmers,
- Thorough visual and mechanical inspection of the condition of suspension hooks, clips, pins and safety cables,
- Checking the condition of power and signal cables, connectors (CEE, Harting, XLR) and sockets,
- Checking the fastening of lighting ramps and the functionality of their positioning mechanisms,
- Thermal inspection of dimmer cabinets and switchboards for early detection of overheating connections.
2. Preventive service and cleaning of lighting equipment
High temperatures and dust from theatrical effects shorten the life of lighting fixtures. Our preventive service of lighting equipment includes cleaning optics, lenses and mirrors, cleaning cooling fans, lubricating mechanical parts (dampers, gobos, focusing), tightening terminal blocks and calibrating the movements of rotating heads.
3. Repairs and troubleshooting
Is the spotlight on strike or the DMX line not working? We perform repairs of stage lighting fixtures, replacement of sockets, repair of power supplies, replacement of damaged wiring and service of dimming units. We can quickly repair or replace defective components with new ones.
4. Modernization of lighting and reconstruction of wiring
